These roles are the longer arc behind the homepage cards: moving from automation and testing into developer environments, Kubernetes platforms, CI/CD, infrastructure, incident process, and engineering systems that make teams faster and calmer.
Built and maintained CI/CD tooling for large TypeScript and .NET monorepos, improved CircleCI/WCI/Dagger/GitHub workflows, created deployment automation, migrated secrets workflows, operated Kubernetes/GCP infrastructure, and built oncall-bot, an AI-assisted incident workflow for root-cause analysis and remediation that helped resolve 40 separate infrastructure issues in one week through focused PRs.
Helped move infrastructure from a cowboy-style setup toward Terraform-backed best practices, modular CI/CD, and reusable modules that expressed company standards.
Took over the DevOps team, stabilized older Kubernetes systems, architected EKS migration work, onboarded ArgoCD, developed Cue-based configuration management, and stayed close to production through on-call and system recovery work.
Owned frontend, backend, local development, deployment, and tooling decisions for a charitable-giving product. Built Nix/direnv onboarding and Tilt/Kubernetes workflows so the product could be developed consistently.
Led Kubernetes migration, Python upgrade work, typing adoption, CI/CD improvements, branch deploys, cryptographic lock technology, and integration instrumentation that made the product safer to ship.
Designed Kubernetes-backed developer environments and the CLI/GUI tooling to create, destroy, tunnel into, authenticate against, and operate them. Also built logging infrastructure, certificate automation, registry caching, and Kubernetes platform services.
Built systems that checked out real phones, drove calls, converted text to speech and speech back to text, and prevented deadlocks in automated tests using a checkout system inspired by the banker’s algorithm.
Built automated tests, reporting systems, distributed test runners, HL7 end-to-end test frameworks, database integration tests, and service harnesses that helped a young automation program scale.
