Early automation leadership

Novarad

Lead Automation Engineer · May 2012 – Dec 2013

Role focus

Turned repeated manual QA into automated systems.

At Novarad I started as a QA test intern and grew into leading automation work that replaced repeated manual testing with frameworks, reporting, and distributed execution.

What I built

I built automated tests, reporting systems, links between automated results and Microsoft Test Manager, distributed Windows test execution, and service harnesses for starting dependencies on laptops.

Healthcare workflow testing

I built an end-to-end HL7 testing framework for workflows that had been manual for years.

Database migration coverage

I built database integration tests to support a large migration from MSSQL to PostgreSQL.

Why it mattered

The work helped a young automation program scale from repeated manual testing into repeatable systems with clearer feedback.
